Belabor- argue or elaborate
Eschew- deliberately avoid using ; abstain from
acquisitive- excessively interested in squiring money 
Emulate- match or surpass typically by imitation 
Banal- lacking in originallity as to be obvious and boring 
Excortion- harsh criticism 
Congeal- solidify or coagulate, by cooling 
Carping- difficult to please; critical 
Substantiate- provide evidence to prove truth
Temporize- avoid making decision or commuting self 
Largesse- generosity in bestowing money or a gift 
Tenable- able to be maintained or defended against attack
Insatiable- never satisfied 
Reconnaissance- military observations of region to locate an enemy or certain strategic feature
Germane- relevant to a subject under consideration 
Ramify- form branches or off shoots ; spread
Intransigent- stubborn refusal to change view
